Unlike general elastic region fastening, it is mainly applied to engine bolts because it is possible to reduce the weight of bolts, secure accurate axial force, and have less dispersion. In order to develop and produce products suitable for a plastic region, we have an optimal manufacturing method that can secure a stretching section, stable surface roughness and friction coefficient.
It can produce products with high precision by cold forging method with precision molding technology. It does not require post-treatment processes such as post-forging processing, and it can reduce production cost and improve quality.
Due to issues such as emission control and fuel economy enhancement, parts weight reduction is emerging, and our company is steadily developing lighter parts by using aluminum, a representative lightweight material. Aluminum is lighter than ordinary steel materials, but it has low elongation and low cold forging formability. Therefore, we implement product molding through optimal construction method and mold design.
We succeeded localization of new manufacturing method in MLA(Mechanical Lash Adjuster) and applied it to the development of mass production of an engine part named tappet. In addition, we have been applying it to localization development and mass production of lock pin integrated forging method, developed cam bolt washer integrated forging method, and other acquired patents. Our research center is concentrating on the development of new construction methods that can replace existing methods.
